Billing

The Billing tab only appears on an inbound vendor. It records what you’ve agreed to pay this partner per call, so the product can tell you what your leads cost. No money moves — nothing here pays anyone, and no invoice comes out of it. It’s cost tracking, and it feeds the CPA numbers.

BillableOn or Off. Off means no cost is tracked for this vendor at all, and its calls contribute nothing to spend. A vendor you’ve never set up opens with Billable off, Cost and Seconds at 0 and Lookback days at 90, so nothing is tracked until you switch it on.

Cost — the payout per billable call: what you pay the vendor. It takes fractions of a cent, so a rate like 8.75 or 0.5 is fine.

Seconds — the buffer. How much connected time a call needs before it counts. 0 bills the call on connect.

Ignore queue time — leave the caller’s time waiting in the queue out of the counted duration.

Ignore ring time — leave the time the call spent ringing an agent out of the counted duration.

A call bills when it ends, if it reached an agent and the counted time was at least Seconds. Everything else is free: a caller who hung up in the queue, a call nobody answered, and every outbound call your team makes. A call that gets transferred on is counted once, not twice.

The agent sees this run down: on a billable vendor call, a countdown appears in the dialer bar and turns red at zero. See the dialer.

Stops you paying twice for the same person.

Enable dupe checkOn or Off.

Lookback days — how far back to look for a prior billed call.

Max allowed dupes — how many repeats may still bill before the rest are disqualified. 0 means none: the first repeat inside the window is already free.

A duplicate is a prior billed call from the same caller through any vendor in your account — not just this one. That’s the point: a lead you already paid for doesn’t bill again when a different partner resells them to you. There’s nothing to configure per vendor; the check is account-wide.

Logs → CPA is where this config turns into figures, over a date range you choose, by vendor or by agent:

Number What it means
Spend What you’d owe the vendor for the calls that qualified
Billed calls How many calls qualified
Vendor calls Every inbound call from the vendor, qualified or not
Conversions Calls dispositioned with an outcome marked as a conversion
CPA Spend divided by conversions — what an acquisition cost you

Conversions come from your disposition list, so CPA stays empty until at least one disposition is set to count as one — see Settings → Dispositions. Per-call cost is also on Logs → Calls, in its Billed and Amount columns — both hidden until you turn them on with Columns.
