Do Not Call

Every contact flagged Do-Not-Call in GoHighLevel, in one searchable table. It’s the list that decides who your dialer will never call, so it’s the first place to look when a call was refused or a lead won’t dial.

Go to Admin → Contacts → Do Not Call. The screen is read-only — there is no add, edit or remove button anywhere on it.

What’s in the table

Name, Phone, State, Company and Tags, fifty rows at a time. Past fifty, Previous and Next appear below the table with a running count of how many there are. An account with nobody suppressed shows No Do-Not-Call contacts.

Everything shown is the contact’s own record from GoHighLevel — this screen reflects it, it doesn’t own it.

Searching

The Search by name, phone, company, or tag… box filters as you type. Partial words are fine, and a tag match counts.

Search phone numbers by their digits, not the way they’re displayed

The table formats numbers as (555) 010-1234, but the search matches the stored digits. Type 5550101234 — or any run of digits from it. Typing the brackets, spaces or dashes you can see on screen finds nothing.

How someone gets on the list

Two routes, and both end up in the same place:

• You, or anyone, turns on DND for the contact in GoHighLevel. The dialer picks it up and suppresses that number.
• An agent picks a wrap-up outcome whose action is Add to DNC (+ GHL DND). That suppresses the number in the dialer straight away and sets the DND flag on the contact in GoHighLevel, so the two stay in step. Which outcomes carry that action is up to you — see Settings → Dispositions.

Suppression is held against the phone number, account-wide. It applies to every campaign, every list and every agent at once, including a second contact record that happens to share the number.

What being on it does

• Campaigns won’t dial the number. It’s checked at the moment of dialing, not only when leads are added, so a number suppressed after it was queued still can’t be reached.
• An agent’s own click-to-call is refused, with the line On your Do-Not-Call list — clear the contact’s DND in GoHighLevel.
• Adding contacts to a manual list skips them. Push a selection across with Add to List and suppressed numbers are left behind.
• On a Smartlist list they stay members — that list mirrors its GoHighLevel filter, and the filter doesn’t care about DND — but they’re never dialed. They’re the On Do Not Call figure in that list’s Not dialable breakdown.

Coming off the list

Clear the DND flag on the contact in GoHighLevel. The suppression lifts on its own; nothing needs doing here, which is why this screen has no controls.

Un-suppressing does not undo what suppression did

The moment a number goes Do-Not-Call it’s taken out of every list it was in, and any call still waiting to be placed for it is dropped from the campaign queues. Clearing DND later removes the block — it does not put the person back in the lists they were removed from. A linked list picks them up again on its next sync; on a manual list you have to add them afresh with Add to List. See Lists.
