Admin

The Admin page is where you run everything agents don’t touch. It opens from Dialer Admin in GoHighLevel’s left sidebar, and only admins see that item — agents have Dialer and Dialer Logs, and never see this page.

They appear across the top in the order you’ll visit them most.

Section What you do there
Live Agents Watch who’s on a call, who’s ready and who’s waiting; listen in, coach, or take over a call; sign an agent out
Campaigns Set the dialing rules — pace, caller ID, lead order, calling hours — and connect lists, numbers and vendors to them
Contacts Build the lists campaigns dial from, see vendor rosters, and check the do-not-call list
Numbers Buy and manage phone numbers: one per agent, shared lines that ring into campaigns, vendor lines, and the outbound caller-ID pool
Vendors Set up the partners who send you leads or calls, hand them their posting instructions, and track what they cost
Users Invite your team, set roles, reset passwords, and control which leads each agent may take
Settings Your account, billing and spam protection, plus the reference lists agents pick from: dispositions, transfers, attributes, and audio

You’ll meet these patterns on almost every screen, so they’re explained once here.

Every detail screen — a campaign, a number, a vendor, a user — has a single Save changes button in its header. It commits everything you’ve changed on every tab of that screen at once, including tick-lists. Nothing is written until you press it. If you switch tabs with unsaved changes, you’re asked first.

The exceptions are deliberate and immediate: password resets, status toggles in a list, and archive/restore all act the moment you confirm them, because they’re not edits to a record — they’re actions on one.

Campaigns are archived. Vendors are archived. Users are deactivated. None of them can be deleted, because each one is attached to call history and reports that would go with it.

Each list has an either/or toggle in its header — Archived only or Inactive only — that swaps the list between the live records and the retired ones. It never shows both mixed together, so “is this one still live?” is never a per-row question. Retired rows are greyed out and badged. Restoring is immediate.

In any list, the at the end of a row holds that record’s lifecycle actions — Duplicate, Archive, Restore, Deactivate, Reactivate — the things you do rarely and deliberately. Clicking anywhere else on the row opens the record. Anything you do constantly stays as its own button in the row rather than being buried in the menu.
